Dear Mahogany Families,
We hope you and your families enjoyed some of the sunshine and warmer temps this weekend. We are very much looking forward to welcoming many of you on Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 for the “From the Heart” event at Mahogany School. Thank you to all the families who have rsvp’d. School Council Meeting – Tuesday @ 6:00 pm
Please join us for our School Council Meeting this Tuesday evening. The Teacher Report will be shared by Resource, and our Admin Report will include important updates for parents and guardians. The Mahogany School Fundraising Association will meet directly after the School Council Meeting.
Video Surveillance Installation
The CBE has installed video surveillance on the exterior of our school to assist in maintaining a welcoming, caring, respectful and safe environment & to help deter damage and vandalism. If you would like to learn more, please see our website here.
Overflow & Lottery Information for Lakeshore School
Principal Fero from Lakeshore School shared some information with Grade 5 families at Mahogany, Auburn Bay and Bayside Schools last week. This information was emailed to all parents and guardians of Gr. 5 students. We will continue to keep you informed as we learn more.
Jump Rope for Heart – Begins Monday
Thank you to our leadership students who are running our Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser for the month of February. Donations support the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Students will take part in jump rope activities during PE classes throughout the month.
Families may donate using the link provided (donations accepted until the end of February). Students who donate will be entered to try and win a Jump Rope for Heart prize, and all participants will have their name displayed on a heart in the gym.
