Dear Mahogany Families,

We hope you enjoyed your Spring Break! We are looking forward to welcoming our students back tomorrow morning on March 30th. Parents, thank you for attending Parent Teacher Conferences. Teachers enjoyed the opportunity to connect with you about your child’s learning at Mahogany, as we enter the final three months of the 2025-26 school year. When parents are engaged in their child’s learning, student academic achievement and wellbeing improves. Thank you for your partnership.

Talent Show Thank You

Mahogany students represented & shone brightly in the Talent Show hosted on March 17th. We were so proud of the students who shared their talents with us, as well as the audience members who hyped up & celebrated their peers! Thank you for supporting your child’s participation as performers or respectful audience members.

Planning for the 2026-27 School Year

Parents, planning for the next school year is underway and having accurate registration numbers is a significant part of our staffing and organizational process. We will be sending out an email to ask families who are not returning to Mahogany School for the next school year because you have moved out of the area or your child is attending another school to please email our school office at mahogany@cbe.ab.ca so we can update our records. Thank you for your attention to this.

Grade 1 Field Trip – Calgary Zoo – Tuesday

Thank you to the parent volunteers who will be joining our Grade 1s for their field trip to the Calgary Zoo on Tuesday. We appreciate your support and the opportunities for students to engage in this offsite learning.

Spring Photos for Students

Lifetouch will be taking the annual individual Spring Photos for students on Thursday. If you don’t want your child to participate in the Spring Photos, please reach out to your child’s teacher to let them know.

Please Save the Date – April 14th

Parents, please join us virtually or in person on April 14th for our next School Council and Mahogany School Fundraising Association meetings. We meet in the front foyer at 6:00 pm or online through a Microsoft Teams link sent along with the agendas. All parents & guardians are invited and a part of our School Council membership.
