Hello Mahogany Families,

There is often so much going on in our lives, especially at this time of the year. We never have time to slow down and think about things happening. Yesterday’s explosion and fire was one of those moments that can make us pause and even stop us in our tracks. This is when we take time to evaluate what is important and to focus on what is important. For each of us, the ‘important’ is a little different based on our own contexts and stories, but one thing that is true is how we come together in community. I received so many amazing messages from families offering to help in so many ways for anyone who might have been impacted. Thank you to everyone who is connecting and sharing this added compassion in such challenging times.

This is Mahogany, a truly connected and caring community that rallies together in times of need to help.

We look forward to next week as we take time to connect through Teacher Led Conferences. This is an excellent opportunity for us to come together as a school community and celebrate student learning, success and continued growth. It is also a great opportunity to come together and connect with other families.

Congratulations to Jade Lewendon who has a new addition to celebrate in her family, Baby Zoe! We are excited to welcome a new Mahog-a-baby to our family <3

School Council / Parent Society

Our next School Council Meeting will be on December 3, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Mahogany School followed by our next Fundraising Association Meeting will follow, all parents/guardians are welcome to join!
