Hello Mahogany Families!
As we transition into this beautiful season of fall, we find ourselves being surrounded by vibrant colors and the crispness of cooler air—a reminder of the beauty that comes with change. This season invites us to reflect, recharge, and reconnect with ourselves, each other and our community. It also reminds us that we must take joy in every moment. Take time to enjoy the beautiful sunrise skies we have been enjoying as we head to school each day. Celebrate the beauty of our school community and the many ways we support one another. Each of you plays such an important role in nurturing a positive environment where our students can thrive.
Fall is my favorite season, the changing colors, the crunch of leaves underfoot, the dark and moody skies and the crisp morning air... As a football mom I have always loved this time of year and even though it seems to be gone and blanketed with snow almost as quickly as it came, it still makes my heart happy every morning. As leaves begin to fall and the days grow shorter, let us embrace the warmth of our connections. Whether through volunteering, participating in school events, or simply sharing a smile, each act fosters a spirit of unity and hope.
So many of our staff celebrated meeting with you at conferences last week and shared how incredible it was to learn so much about their students. We also loved seeing the fun community atmosphere we had with the Book Fair and Food Trucks along with our teacher meetings, it felt like a community event. Additionally, t was so great to see so many of our families today supporting kids on our Terry Fox Run! This really is such an amazing community! Thank you for being an essential part of our Mahogany story. Together, let’s celebrate the changing season and the strength of our community. As we head toward Thanksgiving there are so many moments of joy, gratitude, and thankfulness that we can appreciate if we remember to take the time to truly see. Share them out – spread the joy!
