As we wrap up a full and busy week, we want to extend our gratitude for your continued support and involvement in our school community. This week was filled with meaningful learning, engaging classroom activities, and lots of excitement as students and staff began preparing for our upcoming winter concert.

We also held our School Council meeting, where parents and staff came together to share ideas, ask questions, and collaborate in ways that strengthen our school. Your partnership is invaluable, and it’s a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish together. We are looking forward to the exciting things planned this year and our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 9, 2025.

Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome you to the school next week for parent-teacher conferences next week on Thursday and Friday. These conversations are an important opportunity to reconnect—families and educators coming together around the shared goal of supporting each child’s growth. In a season that often brings us back to the people who matter most, this theme of reuniting feels especially meaningful.

School Fees|

Reminder: Please check your MyCBE account for fees on a regular basis. Fees for this year are added centrally as well as at the school as field trips are organized. We also have many parents who have had unpaid fees since last year. Please ensure these fees are paid as soon as possible so that we can continue to offer these opportunities for your children. Unpaid fees directly impact the school and may result in a loss of funds for other areas of your children’s learning experiences. Please contact us at the school if you have any questions about your child’s fees or require support to access your account.

Traffic and Parking Concerns|

Please remember to be courteous of our school neighbors. Parking is not permitted in front of driveways or on the road, blocking traffic. We ask that you are cautious where you are parking or stopping along Mahogany Way to allow for the families who live in those houses to safely leave their driveways. Additionally, a reminder that the staff parking lot and the parking lot of the apartment complex on Mahogany Way is not available for dropping off and picking up. This will be even more important as the weather changes and our roads and sidewalks become snowy and slippery.

Reminder that it is not safe to cross Mahogany Blvd in front of the school. Please consider safety over convenience, as the mornings are darker and the roads become slippery, crossing here becomes increasingly dangerous. We appreciate you taking the time to go to the crosswalk at the traffic circle or at Mahogany Way. We know that traffic can often be a barrier to getting to school on time. We are happy to welcome your children when they arrive safely even if it may be after the bell.

Thank you for your care and attention to this – safety is our main concern, and we want our students to start their day positively.

School Council / Parent Society|

Please join us in the Gathering Space at the front of the school. We look forward to seeing you all there! Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 6:00pm. The school council meets on the second Tuesday of each month. All parents/guardians are welcome to join! Front Doors will open at 5:45 p.m.
